Sarah and Chris Day were both honoured and excited to be special guests at the Tai Chi & Shaolin Kung Fu show held in Telford on Saturday 15 June. Both came on and performed three 1st Dan patterns and free sparing for the audience. In addition to Sarah and Chris was there Uncle Neil Grimley, who teaches Tai chi at his school in Telford. Neil is also a close friend of Master Liming Yue 7th Duan Wei who also performed and narrated the show contents. Two of the most powerful internal arts, Tai Chi and the legendary Shaolin Kung Fu were brought together under one roof. The Tai Chi and Shaolin Kung Fu Show offered a rare glimpse into these mystical arts that are considered national treasures in the hearts and minds of the Chinese people. This unique show combined the powerful internal arts of Tai Chi and Shaolin Kung Fu into a magical display that left the audience spellbound and amazed. Led by China’s leading Tai Chi Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei, a collection of Masters from central China performed incredible feats of power and agility to demonstrate the limits of human potential. The show was packed with amazing performances and guided the audience through a history of these ancient arts to reveal their most elusive component; internal (Qi) energy.
